Steven graduated in Fall 2012 with a PhD in Theoretical & Applied Mechanics from Northwestern's McCormick School of Engineering & Applied Sciences. Upon graduation, Steven started as a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group in Chicago. During his time at Northwestern, Steven was a member of the prestigious Cabell Society of Fellows and recipient of the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. Besides his research, he served as co-Director of the McCormick Graduate Leadership Council and co-founded the Advanced Degree Consulting Alliance, for which he was the inaugural President of Operations. During his time on ADCA, Steven spearheaded several initiatives, most importantly the Case Book for Nonbusiness People, for which he contributed 3 original cases, original content on business frameworks and analysis, and all major editing of the editorial board's content. In his spare time, Steven plays beach volleyball and writes amateur prose and poetry. Steven received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Florida in Civil Engineering.

Chengyi is a consultant in the Chicago office of Bain & Company. He joined Bain in 2011. While at Bain, Chengyi's work spans multiple practice areas and industries. His experience includes corporate spin-off, global expansion, marketing strategy for emerging markets, customer retention, IT strategy, and change management. He has worked with clients in consumer products, healthcare, and industrial goods and services. Chengyi holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Neuroscience from Northwestern University and a B.Sc. in Biosciences and Biotechnology from Tsinghua University.
Zitao (Arthur) Zhang
Dr. Zitao (Arthur) Zhang is an Associate with Booz & Company Chicago office. As an aviation/airlines enthusiast, Arthur is building up his expertise in engineered products and services. Prior to joining Booz, Arthur worked with Roland Berger, CSX Corporation and Northwest Airlines to gain knowledge and skills in consulting, freight cargo and airlines industry. Arthur holds a Ph.D. degree in Transportation & Logistics from Northwestern University, a Master degree in Economics from Kellogg School of Management, and a Bachelor degree from Tsinghua University. He has been serving as external advisor for ADCA since its inception. During leisure time, Arthur enjoys snowboarding, exploring national parks, and reading history.
Kamilah McCoy is the Assistant Director for Engineering and Science at Northwestern University Career Services (UCS). In her role, she works with undergraduate and graduate students seeking employment in engineering, science and technical fields upon graduation. Kamilah has a professional interest in the academic, personal, and career development of college students. Prior to joining UCS, she served as the Assistant Director of an academic support and retention program for students majoring in engineering. She is also is a trained mental health counselor and holds a M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Michigan.
Kathleen Stendahl Meier
Kate Meier is the Associate Director of Legal Careers in the Center for Career Strategy and Advancement at Northwestern University School of Law. She works with law students and alumni seeking employment in both legal and nontraditional roles. Prior to joining the Career Strategy Center, Kate served as a recruiter and a career counselor at a local law school. She has worked for law firms in Chicago, London and Hong Kong, where she focused on consumer finance, franchising, international commercial contracts and business development. Kate received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Minnesota Law School.
Adam Goodman directs NorthwesternUniversity's Center for Leadership and is a faculty member in the McCormick School of Engineering & Applied Science. His previous roles include: a founding partner of the NorthStone Group, CEO of the University of Colorado's Leadership Institute and its Presidents Leadership Class, and Special Assistant to 3 University of Colorado Presidents.
Mearah earned her Bachelor’s degree in English at Oberlin College and her Master’s and Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of Pennsylvania. In her spare time, Mearah enjoys painting with watercolors, treasure hunting at thrift stores, and reading speculative fiction.
