McKinsey & Company virtual presentation for LGBT advance degree candidates next Tuesday, April 7th, 6-7pm EST
I would like to invite you to join us next Tuesday (April 7th) for a virtual presentation on working as an LGBT advanced degree holder at McKinsey & Company (6-7 pm ET; details TBA). The application deadline for our summer Insight programs is April 14th -- now is a great time to learn about being an LGBT advanced degree holder at McKinsey & Company!
Whether you have already applied for an Insight summer program, have thought about applying, or are just interested in learning more, we would love to show you what the Firm has to offer and support you through the recruiting process.
As an LGBT advanced degree candidate, McKinsey & Company could not be a more exciting and supportive place. Advanced & Professional Degree holders (APDs) comprise over 40% of consultants at the Firm and perform equally as well as MBA holders over the course of their careers. Mini-MBA, a three week accelerated MBA, and other training helps APDs like you and me get a running start as a consultant.
Further, McKinsey's global LGBT community (GLAM) helps each of us be comfortable in 'bringing our full selves' to work. GLAM has impact within the Firm by providing a worldwide network of friends and mentors who support one another, and has impact outside the Firm through pro bono engagements with organizations like The Point Foundation and The Trevor Project.
